Job summary

Element Fleet Management seeks a Consultant, DOT Program in Minneapolis to lead DOT and Hazmat compliance efforts across North America. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, sales, and operations to strengthen processes and drive growth, while delivering compliant fleet solutions.

The role emphasizes regulatory expertise, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work setting based in Hopkins, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in the truck industry; DOT/Transport Canada knowledge a plus.
• Ability to interpret data, support reporting, and monitor KPIs.
• Strong negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills; independent judgements.

Responsibilities

• Manage DOT program services and onboarding for clients.
• Serve as liaison among clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations and related processes.
• Create and manage Statements of Work with Element Legal.
• Support business development with client discussions and proposals.
