Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Kansas is seeking an organized Fleet Administrative Assistant to support the Fleet Manager with registration of company owned assets (IRP and non-commercial) and to maintain accurate records of vehicle purchases and sales.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, recordkeeping for fuel tax reporting (IFTA, state taxes), driver records and DOT-related documentation, with attention to detail, confidentiality and professional communication in a dynamic transportation

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced computer skills. Previous experience with MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fleet Manager with registration of company owned assets (IRP and non-commercial).
• Maintains accurate records of vehicle purchases and sales.
• Assist with recordkeeping required for Fuel Tax reporting (IFTA and state taxes).
• Assist with permit renewals and Unified Carrier Registration (UCR).
• Audit driver logs for HOS compliance and maintain DOT-related records.
• Assist with driver qualification files and training records.
