Serrato Corporation is seeking a Dormitory Supervisor in Detroit to oversee paraprofessional student support and ensure a safe, orderly living environment. The role requires supervising students, coordinating activities, and maintaining logs and reports throughout a 24/7 operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in human services preferred.
• Ability to guide and support students in a dorm environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of residential living procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly, clean living conditions through supervision and scheduling.
• Supervise cafeteria, laundry, activities, and other areas as assigned.
• Identify and assist students with problems and conduct dorm meetings.
• Maintain communication with counselors, instructors, and staff.
• Attend trainings and follow safety and policy guidelines.
• Establish and maintain a respectful, fair environment for students.
• Initiate and direct dormitory programs utilizing center services.
• Transport students to activities as needed.
• Maintain secure and safe buildings and environment.
