Job summary

Serrato Corporation in Marion, VA, is seeking an on-call Dormitory Supervisor to provide substitute and call-in services for a 24/7 operation. You will supervise dormitory activities, maintain order, and coordinate with counselors and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work varied shifts. Prior experience with youth or residential living is preferred. This position is on-call and may require non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Computer literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of residential living and dormitory procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides substitute and/or call-in services of a residential advisor.
• Supervision for the cafeteria, laundry, activities, and other areas as scheduled.
• Maintains logbooks and CIS entries.
• Transports students to activities and events as needed.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
