Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an Apprentice Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial dock and door equipment at customer locations. You will learn mechanical and electrical troubleshooting while prioritizing safety and customer service.

You will work with experienced technicians, participate in installations and service calls, and advance through the ADVANCE training program to build technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school accepted.
• Experience in welding, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical knowledge is preferred.
• A valid state driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial dock and door equipment under supervision.
• Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on various equipment.
• Use hand and power tools under guidance to support installation tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and follow company safety policies.
• Document basic service activities and observe customer interactions.
