Job summary

International Fellowship of Christians & Jews, Inc. seeks an Associate, Donor Support to engage with donors through our call center, respond to inquiries, accept donations, and provide compassionate outreach. This full-time, temp-to-hire role is based in Chicago with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will handle donor communications, prepare letters, resolve issues in the donor database, and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate processing of gifts, acknowledgments, and requests for information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service and hospitality.
• A customer-friendly tone with empathy for donors.
• Strong problem-solving to respond to donor concerns and requests quickly.
• Culture sensitivity to Jewish and Christian communities and Evangelical Christian context.
• Core values: integrity, humility, accountability, collaboration, dignity, innovation.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including donor databases and Microsoft Office; 50 WPM typing.

Responsibilities

• Answer donor calls courteously and professionally; follow up as needed.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of letters and donor documentation; code in database.
• Respond to website feedback; process matching gifts and credit card issues; support special projects.
