Job summary

Villanova University seeks a Stewardship Associate, Communication and Reporting to lead donor-facing stewardship reporting and communications. You will partner with University Advancement and frontline fundraisers to craft compelling reports that demonstrate the impact of philanthropy.

You will edit narratives, develop templates, and manage digital reporting systems to ensure timely, personalized donor acknowledgments and stewardship communication across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-4 years of similar or related experience required.
• Knowledge of advancement practices, stewardship strategies, and donor communications.
• Experience creating reports and acknowledgments, synthesizing diverse information, and understanding giving data for individuals, corporations and foundations.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities; strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities; excellent time management; commitment to high‑quality customer service; comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce compelling stewardship reports and donor impact communications with UAC and frontline fundraisers.
• Edit endowment narratives, student and donor stories, gratitude statements, and other reporting content.
• Develop reporting templates, timelines, and project plans to ensure timely delivery of reports and acknowledgments.
• Manage digital stewardship outreach through platforms like ODDER, FundMiner, and AirTable and standardize digital report templates.
• Collaborate to strengthen stewardship initiatives for principal and major donors and track reporting metrics.
• Draft and coordinate customized stewardship correspondence on behalf of senior leadership.
