Job summary

Villanova University seeks a Communication Associate, University Advancement Communication (UAC), to deliver integrated multi-channel communications. You will serve as project manager, writer and editor for digital and print materials, coordinating with academic enterprise, colleges, athletics, and other areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of writing, project management and communication experience for multiple platforms within an academic, business or non-profit environment.
• Experience with digital and print communications and marketing initiatives across multiple constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a project manager, writer and editor for both digital and print communication and marketing initiatives within University Advancement, including solicitations, major gift proposals, publications, event communications and presentations.
• Develops, plans, schedules and collaborates with various UA departments on communication and marketing projects and data management; coordinates with University Communications and Marketing on design, photography and production.
• Serves as a cross-functional member of the UAC team, managing additional projects as needed.
• Performs other duties and assists with projects as assigned.
