Job summary

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach is seeking a Development & Stewardship Coordinator on Johns Island, SC. The role partners with the Director of Advancement to steward donors, manage gift processing, and coordinate communications and events.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in nonprofit development, and a commitment to mission-driven service. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, nonprofit management, marketing, business administration, or related field
• 1–3 years of nonprofit development, donor relations, administrative support, customer service, communications, or database management preferred
• Equivalent experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor records and CRM data; process gifts and updates
• Coordinate donor acknowledgments, tax receipts, and stewardship communications
• Support donor communications and fundraising campaigns and events
• Assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting with finance team
• Document donor interactions and stewardship activities in the CRM
• Assist advancement staff with donor cultivation and follow-up
