Job summary

Stanford Blood Center seeks an experienced Training Supervisor for Donor Services to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs for whole blood and apheresis collection, donor evaluation, and donor relations. You will oversee trainers, ensure regulatory and QA standards, and mentor staff to drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with management to maintain up-to-date competencies, implement CAPA actions, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

Proficiency in understanding and applying adult learning concepts.
Ability to develop and implement donor services training programs.
Strong commitment to regulatory requirements and QA alignment.
Effective collaboration with management to ensure training readiness.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement and evaluate training programs for whole blood and apheresis operations.
Supervise and develop a team of trainers; establish a Train-the-Trainer program.
Write and maintain training documents; ensure SOP alignment and competency assessments.
Lead regulatory readiness activities and CAPA with measurable outcomes.
Directly supervise, schedule and evaluate new hires during training periods.
Ensure privacy, safety, and HIPAA compliance across training activities.
