Job summary

The Blood Connection is seeking a Donor Services Technician Driver to support our mobile blood drive operations. You will register donors, perform donor history assessments, and drive a specialized mobile blood donation bus to various locations, ensuring compliance and exceptional customer service throughout the donation process.

You will work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings, to help provide a safe and adequate blood supply for patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL class A or B preferred.
• Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) required.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with patrons, donors, sponsors and coworkers.
• Ability to work with all levels in a diverse environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Register donors and conduct donor history assessments.
• Drive and operate a mobile blood donation bus to locations.
• Set up donation sites and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Provide exemplary customer service during the donation process.
• Assist with donor screening room and reception duties.
• Participate in blood drives and events.
