Job summary

The Blood Connection is seeking a Donor Services Technician Bloodmobile Driver to enhance the donor experience across mobile blood drive operations. You will register donors, perform donor history assessments, and conduct basic physical evaluations while driving and operating a mobile blood donation bus.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and adherence to regulatory standards. You will set up donation sites, ensure bus cleanliness and readiness, and collaborate with the collections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation.
• Class A or B CDL License with no major infractions.
• Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) at minimum.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors and co-workers.
• Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors and guests warmly, identifies donors by appointment, and engages donors by name.
• Assess donor eligibility via medical history, mini physical, and testing results.
• Support donor collection by handling health history and guiding the donation flow.
• Maintain mobile bus appearance and cleanliness during operations.
• Communicate the organization’s donor experience values to patrons and stay close to the customer.
