Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia in Roswell, GA is seeking a Donor Goods Processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated items for resale across our 100+ stores. This role operates in a fast-paced retail environment and supports our mission to put people to work.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, maintaining safety standards, assisting loading donations, and delivering friendly guest service. We offer PTO, discounts, insurance, uniforms, and access to career training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adeptly handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks and work instructions in daily tasks.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote teamwork with peers.
• Keep donor door area neat and organized.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
