Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in a medical setting.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors and conducts registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assists donors with screening including health history and basic medical questions.
• Performs health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Obtains hematocrit and total protein via finger stick as part of screening.
• Educates donors on screening process, tests performed, center policies and nutrition.
• Registers applicants and transfers donors as needed after training.
• Answers phone inquiries or routes calls to staff.
• Monitors donor well-being during/after pheresis and reports issues.
• Maintains accurate donor data in electronic management system.
• Ensures compliance with HSE and OSHA policies and maintains confidentiality.
