Job summary

CSL Vifor's plasma donation center in Eau Claire, WI seeks a donor center assistant to greet donors and guide them through registration and screening. You will assist with health history reviews, answer basic medical questions, and perform health checks such as BP, pulse, weight, and temperature to verify donor suitability for pheresis.

With training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products, participate in data entry, answer inquiries, and help maintain a safe, compliant center

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process including health history and basic questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies after training.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Monitor donor well-being during/after pheresis and escalate issues as needed.
