Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• EMT-P certification or Diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing or a BS in a medically related field.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors.
• Communicate with hospital staff to maintain opportunity for donation.
• Proactively round and identify donor referral potential.
• Serve as a resource to regional hospitals for organ and tissue donation.
