Job summary

CSL Vifor in Tulsa, OK is seeking a donor center assistant to greet donors and guide them through screening and registration for plasma pheresis. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager.

The role involves health history review, basic medical questions, and performing health checks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature, including a finger-stick hematocrit test. Data entry and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct donor screening procedures.
• Assist with completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening tasks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; collect hematocrit and total protein with finger stick.
• Educate donors on the screening process, health screening tests, appointment systems, center policies, nutrition.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer phones and direct callers to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after the pheresis process and notify staff of issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information management system.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
