Job summary

CSL in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Donor Screening Assistant to greet donors and guide them through the screening process for plasma pheresis. You will collect initial data, perform health checks, answer questions, and ensure donor safety while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required is a high school diploma and at least 3 months in a clerical or customer-service role; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred. The role may involve overtime and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in the screening process in compliance with SOPs, including health history assessment and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; conduct finger stick for hematocrit and total protein levels.
