Job summary

CSL Vifor seeks a donor screening assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and conduct initial screening procedures in a plasma collection center. You will perform health checks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature, and assist with donor registration processes.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma, explain the screening steps, appointment system, center policies and nutrition recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months in clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical/healthcare.
• Basic math calculations will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and assist with screening procedures per SOPs.
• Educate donors on the use of plasma-derived products after training; explain screening, tests, policies and fees.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
