Job summary

CSL Vifor Indianapolis plasma collection center is hiring a front desk donor services associate. In this role, you will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening procedures.

You will work closely with medical staff to ensure safety and compliance throughout the donation process. We seek individuals with a high school diploma and at least three months of clerical or customer service experience, who can perform basic math and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history and questions, and perform health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products, screening process, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and related information.
• Register and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after the pheresis process and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs and potentially bilingual requirements.
