Job summary

CSL Plasma in Mesquite, TX is seeking a part-time Medical Screener - Reception Technician to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will perform health checks (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) and document results in our system with strict confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 3 months in customer service or clerical work, preferably in healthcare, and may assist with donor education and phone inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and complete registration procedures.
• Assess donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process and explain procedures.
• Record donor information accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform health screening steps such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; obtain hematocrit if needed.
• Answer phone inquiries or transfer calls to appropriate staff; assist with center policies.
