The Blood Connection, Incorporated in Suffolk, VA seeks a Donor Resources Manager to lead the Donor Resources Department, coordinating with Account Managers and Recruiters to plan and optimize blood drive schedules, aligning opportunities with inventory and usage projections.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership development, and proficiency with MS Office; ability to supervise staff and work with diverse stakeholders to meet monthly goals is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of blood banking experience or 3+ years of proven outside sales experience in a service relation industry
• Outside sales, marketing, or customer service experience required
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Strong computer skills including intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers

Mansioni

• Directs Account Managers and Recruiters for the division in the performance of duties
• Works with the Donor Resources Business Development Manager to ensure the blood drive calendar is completed by the set deadline weekly
• Develops leaders throughout the organization by being a role model of high leadership behaviors and through the implementation of leadership development opportunities
• Has ability to analyze excel reports and interpret data
• Reviews the scheduled blood drives in advance to evaluate and maintain efficiencies and accurate goals
• Tracks the monthly goals and sets expectations for the Account Managers
• Schedules, interviews, and selects appropriate candidates for department positions with the assistance of the Director of Donor Resources
• Develops an extensive working knowledge of the HemaTerra Technologies product suite
• Supports the growth of the company by promoting HemaConnect donor recruitment software through public relations activities
