Job summary

WestSide Baby is seeking a Donor Relationship Manager to identify, build, and strengthen relationships with individual and corporate major donors. You will report to the Director of Development and work closely with the Events Manager and Public Affairs Manager to maximize support.

Based in White Center (south of Seattle), this full-time role offers a generous benefits package and opportunities for flexible scheduling as the organization grows and expands its impact in Western King County.

Qualifications

• Exceptional relationship builder capable of identifying and cultivating major donors.
• Experience in donor relations or fundraising preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams (events, public affairs).

Job description

WestSide Baby , an organization that provides essential items to meet the basic needs of children in Western King County, is looking for an exceptional relationship builder to identify, build, and strengthen relationships with individual and corporate major donors. The Donor Relationship Manager will report to the Director of Development, supervise the Development Assistant, and work closely with the Events Manager and Public Affairs Manager.

WestSide Baby provides low-income, homeless and refugee families in western King County with the essential material goods they need to properly care for their children. We are the only agency in Western King County that provides free access to the tangible items caregivers need to meet a child's basic physical needs. We collect gently-used children's clothing, car seats and cribs, along with donated diapers and hygiene products, and distribute them, free of charge, to families in need. We also leverage large-scale corporate partnerships to receive bulk donations of new items such as car seats, diapers and strollers for distribution to the families we serve.
