Job summary

A leading children's healthcare organization in Seattle is looking for an experienced individual to support donor engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating donor events, providing administrative support, and managing project tasks. Job description

Job Overview

This role supports the donor engagement program by coordinating and implementing many annual donor cultivation and stewardship events. It requires strong collaboration with internal and external partners and supports the donor engagement team on various concurrent projects. Responsibilities include administrative event support, requesting communications lists, updating and maintaining event data, scheduling internal and external event meetings, tracking expense documentation, and updating project tasks in our project management system. We are looking for someone with keen organization skills, a bias for action, curiosity, administrative and event experience, and a fundamental understanding and appreciation of philanthropy.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to email, schedule, and communicate with internal and external constituents in a customer‑service oriented role.
  • Experience with project management activities and/or event coordination.
  • Fundamental understanding of fundraising practices and principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Familiarity with Washington State philanthropy environment.
  • Knowledge of database systems and healthcare fundraising.
  • Experience with a not‑for‑profit organization.
Compensation

$29.16 – $43.73 per hour. This range is based on full‑time employment (2080 hours per year). Compensation may vary within the range based on equity, skills, experience, and expertise. Disclaimer for Out of State Applicants: This range applies to Seattle; positions outside Seattle may be compensated differently.
