Job summary

Loudoun Hunger Relief is seeking a Development Coordinator to collaborate with the Chief Development Officer, Annual Fund Manager, and Community Engagement Manager to cultivate and nurture relationships with individual and institutional donors, volunteers and supporters.

Primary duties include donor retention, managing mid-range giving, and supporting grant activities, ensuring accurate donor records and timely communications to sustain program services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of RE NXT a plus.
• Ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid-range donor retention, cultivation and communication.
• Plan and manage fundraising and stewardship events.
• Identify donors for mid-range, major giving or estate gifts.
• Coordinate donor interactions with appropriate representatives.
• Execute donor reactivation programs.
• Contribute to donor communications and group communications.
• Nurture the sustainer donor program.
• Maintain donor database records and documentation.
• Handle donor inquiries and documentation needs.
• Manage Double the Donation matching gift program.
• Support Grant Program with tracking and reporting.
