Job summary

Gould Farm seeks a Development & Communications Coordinator to manage donor data, coordinate annual giving, and lead communications across fundraising channels. The role reports to the Director of Philanthropy and helps steward community resources with integrity.

The position emphasizes data-driven fundraising, event planning, and cross-functional collaboration with staff in Development, Admissions, Outreach, HR, and Programs. On-site housing is available for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in development, marketing, customer relations, or related experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional externally and internally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; fast learner with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all aspects of the donor database.
• Enter donor information and gift data; issue acknowledgments and manage pledge payments.
• Develop systems for tracking donations per accounting and audit requirements.
• Prepare gift acknowledgment letters and mailings with consistency.
• Reconcile donor records with Finance; ensure data integrity.
• Create reports and dashboards for fundraising status for staff/Board.
• Support annual fundraising strategy to raise $500,000+ for the Community Fund.
• Coordinate stewardship events, invitations, RSVPs, and data management.
• Project manage content for blog and social media; track engagement.
• Oversee events including the annual 5K fundraising event and related logistics.
