Job summary

Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana is seeking an Advancement Associate to execute fundraising plans that drive revenue and align with chapter-wide Advancement, Marketing and Community Engagement goals. You will manage donor portfolios, solicit gifts and steward relationships to strengthen support for wish grants.

The role requires collaborative work with internal teams, use of Salesforce for gift tracking, and travel up to 20% for donor meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1-2 years work experience, preferably in fundraising or revenue generation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented organization.
• Flexibility to travel overnight up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, secure and steward donors to achieve revenue goals for the chapter.
• Advance relationships with a portfolio of high-potential donors and prospects.
• Track progress toward revenue goals using Salesforce and chapter forms.
• Provide a customized donor experience with timely, high-quality service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to pursue new donors and sponsorships.
• Support chapter events and engage constituents.
• Other duties, as assigned.
