Job summary

Loveland Center Inc. is seeking a Regional Philanthropy Associate to advance its mission through donor relations, community outreach, and impactful fundraising events. You will manage a portfolio of 100+ donors, cultivate relations, and help drive engagement and giving.

The role combines event planning, marketing, and outreach activities, requiring strong communication, organization, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of nonprofit events, community engagement, development, or related experience.
• Excellent public speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Experience with DonorPerfect, Canva, Constant Contact, and social media platforms preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Loveland Center by attending civic, chamber, nonprofit, and social events to build awareness and relationships.
• Schedule and deliver presentations to schools, civic groups, faith communities, and local organizations to promote Loveland’s mission.
• Cultivate and steward community stakeholders, sponsors, and donors through regular touchpoints, meetings, and updates.
• Research and build strategic alliances and partnerships to amplify Loveland Center’s reach and impact.
• Serve as the community liaison for all third-party events.
• Oversee event ticket sales and sponsorships.
• Assist with on-site event management, including setup, coordination, volunteer oversight, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare event reports tracking sponsorships, attendance, revenue, expenses, and feedback.
• Manage communications for events and outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team to create engaging marketing collateral for events, donor campaigns, and outreach (flyers, newsletters, press releases).
• Curate participant stories, event photos, and program highlights for newsletters, social media, blogs, and donor impact reports.
