Job summary

Shriners Children’s in Ohio seeks a PRN Philanthropy Assistant to support donor cultivation and event planning within the Philanthropy team. You will assist with donor acknowledgement, database management, and reporting to strengthen stewardship relationships.

The role involves supporting major fundraising events, prospect research, and coordination of logistics. Healthcare fundraising experience and familiarity with Blackbaud are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of philanthropy experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Healthcare fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience with Blackbaud or other CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Senior Director of Philanthropy in daily duties.
• Processes donations and prepares acknowledgement letters.
• Maintains donor database records and generates monthly reports.
• Drafts donor correspondence and letters of intent.
• Documents procedures for donations processing and philanthropy operations.
• Plans and executes major fundraising events; manages day-of logistics.
• Maintains guest lists and prepares registration materials.
• Identifies and researches potential donors; supports cultivation and solicitation.
• Builds relationships with Shrine Temples and local groups for support.
• Manages inventory, procurement, and office supplies within budget.
