Job summary

Adventure Science Center seeks a Donor Relations Specialist to strengthen philanthropy through annual giving, donor engagement, and membership programs. You will manage a portfolio of donors up to $2,500 and collaborate on campaigns and stewardship initiatives with the Development team.

The role requires building relationships via in-person or virtual meetings, coordinating fundraising efforts, and supporting data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• 2-4 years of fundraising, nonprofit operations, or related experience preferred.
• Donor database knowledge with Blackbaud/Altru is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of annual donors and prospects giving up to $2,500 annually with personalized cultivation and renewal strategies.
• Develop individualized engagement plans to acquire new donors, retain supporters, and increase annual giving.
• Build donor relationships through in-person visits, calls, virtual meetings, and written outreach.
• Coordinate annual fund campaigns and fundraising events with the team.
• Oversee membership campaigns and stewardship experiences to deepen donor commitment.
• Analyze donor data and maintain accurate reports and records for strategy decisions.
• Support campaign strategy, messaging, and execution as needed.
