Job summary

Refuge for Women in Henderson is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to support donor relations, events and program operations. The role combines administrative duties with public-facing engagement at events to advance fundraising and community impact.

You will work under the Executive Director and Development Director to set up office systems, coordinate local activities, and cultivate partnerships with donors, volunteers and churches.

Qualifications

• Fundraising and donor relations experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills including Google apps.
• Experience with QuickBooks is desirable.
• Office or admin experience with knowledge of office management systems.
• Excellent time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, persistent.

Responsibilities

• Work with Executive Director to implement a donor engagement plan including recruitment, communication and appreciation.
• Assist Executive Director with fundraising events, communications, grant initiatives and local partnerships.
• Develop and implement communications strategy for staff, donors and community partners.
• Plan and implement social media and website communication strategies.
• Assist the Executive Director as needed with planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Help coordinate and participate in staff meetings, trainings and development activities.
• Help maintain positive, functional working relationships with community, government and referral agencies.
• Participate with Executive Director and/or attend community events
