Job summary

ROME GROUP seeks a Donor Relations Coordinator to support fundraising and engagement initiatives, coordinating campaigns, corporate partnerships, events, and peer‑to‑peer programs.

You will strengthen donor relationships through thoughtful stewardship, maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce, plan recognition events, and work cross‑functionally to advance development goals for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, public relations, or related field.
• Three years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit administration, project coordination, donor relations, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with donor databases and managing fundraising data preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track campaign pledges, donor engagement activity, and progress toward fundraising goals.
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, commitments, and campaign participation within Salesforce.
• Monitor giving trends, campaign metrics, and engagement indicators to identify opportunities for deeper donor relationships.
• Prepare donor profiles, research summaries, and briefing materials for major gift conversations.
• Identify potential major gift prospects based on giving history and engagement levels.
• Coordinate timely follow-up, acknowledgements, pledge reminders, and ongoing donor communications.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship strategy including recognition and impact reporting.
• Plan and execute donor and partner recognition events; manage sponsorships and post‑event evaluation.
• Lead peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns and develop resources for participants.
