Job summary

Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) in Seattle seeks a Senior Director of Advancement to lead fundraising, communications, marketing, volunteer engagement, and community outreach in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will expand major donor programs, diversify revenue sources, strengthen branding, and partner with the Executive Director and the Board to advance ReWA's mission for immigrant and refugee communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of fundraising/advancement leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams and supervising staff.
• Experience with major donors and donor stewardship initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse communities, stakeholders, and leadership groups.
• Knowledge of fundraising CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead efforts to grow unrestricted revenue and diversify funding sources.
• Expand major donor, individual giving, corporate sponsorship, and philanthropic partnerships.
• Identify new opportunities to increase community investment in ReWA's mission.
• Establish measurable fundraising goals, performance metrics, and accountability systems.
• Partner with the Executive Director on high level donor cultivation and stewardship efforts.
• Support and strengthen Board engagement in fundraising activities.
• Oversee communications, marketing, and public relations strategies to strengthen brand and visibility.
• Represent ReWA at community events and with external stakeholders.
