Job summary

West Central Behavioral Health seeks a Development Manager to secure funds, grow the donor base, and advance awareness of the agency’s mission. You will develop campaigns, secure grants, manage stakeholder relationships, and plan events to support the organization’s strategy.

Qualifications

Experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor cultivation.
Ability to plan events and manage fundraising campaigns.
Experience writing grant proposals and reporting.
Strong stakeholder communication and relationship building.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual fundraising strategies aligned with the agency's strategic plan.
Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and follow-up.
Maintain the donor database and ensure accuracy of all gift records for tax, audit, and historical purposes.
Build and steward relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, and community partners.
Craft donor communications and fundraising materials across multiple channels.
Research, write, and submit grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and municipal funders; coordinate all grantor reporting.
Monitor and evaluate fundraising outcomes and recommend improvements.
Prepare monthly development reports for the Board's Development & Community Relations Committee and executive leadership.
