Job summary

FamilyCore is seeking a Development Manager to lead donor relations, events, and external marketing to diversify resources and expand partnerships. You will cultivate relationships with foundations, corporations, and individual donors while promoting FamilyCore programs and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area required.
• 4-6 years related experience required. Substitution allowed for some college and/or equivalent experience.
• Customer relations, donor relations, or sales experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, budget, and organize in a management capacity.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and lead the Annual Development Plan, including special events, direct mail, planned giving, and personal contact with foundations and corporations.
• Write, design, and prepare all materials for fundraising efforts, including campaign solicitation letters, donor lists, financial status reports, and contributor recognition.
• Market FamilyCore needs and seeks funding support through various sources; educate the community and promote services through multimedia coverage and marketing projects.
• Plan full event cycles for major events such as Golf Outing and Frosty 5k.
• Recruit and screen volunteers; assist HR with data entry and benefits upkeep.
• Oversee development and maintenance of procedures to comply with charity laws, accreditation, licensing, and contracts.
