Job summary

Franciscan Alliance seeks a Development Associate I to support the Franciscan Health Foundation’s fundraising efforts by coordinating donor engagement, annual giving activities, events and stewardship. This role manages a small donor portfolio, executes annual fund campaigns and events, and assists with communication and database updates following established protocols.

In addition to fundraising duties, the Development Associate serves as a representative of the Foundation within the

Qualifications

Required Associate’s Degree Marketing/communications, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field.
Required 1 year Fundraising, Communications, and/or Public Relations.
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Marketing/communications, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field.

Responsibilities

Annual Fund & Employee Giving.
Event planning and execution.
Donor stewardship (notes, calls, giving clubs).
Communications support (e.g., approved email newsletters, direct response efforts).
Community & Internal Engagement (civic groups, volunteers, orientation).
Personal portfolio management.
Database management (updates, tracking via existing reports/dashboards).
