Job summary

Advocate Health Foundation seeks an experienced development professional to support day-to-day fundraising, major gifts, and annual giving, collaborating with Foundation leaders and physicians to grow donor engagement and giving.

You will manage a donor portfolio, plan events, prepare gift proposals, and monitor community activities to develop new fundraising projects aligned with Advocate Health Foundation's goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years professional fund development or related advancement experience preferred.
• Experience in health care development or not-for-profit marketing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day fund development and advancement activities.
• Leads selected fund development activities and annual giving programs.
• Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a donor portfolio.
• Partners with physicians to identify grateful patient prospects.
• Plans and implements fundraisers, events, and volunteer recruitment.
• Manages multiple projects aligned with Foundation objectives.
• Develops gift proposals resulting in significant annual gifts.
• Maintains organized records of proposals for sponsorship outreach.
• Conducts donor cultivation and stewardship activities.
• Monitors community news to develop new fundraising projects.
• Advises volunteer-led fundraising activities.
