Job summary

The American Red Cross in Missouri and Illinois seeks a driven professional to support attracting, retaining, and scheduling blood drive sponsors while educating stakeholders to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals.

You will provide guidance to volunteers and coordinate with blood drive coordinators, covering Madison County IL and parts of North County MO. A bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales/communications and strong communication skills are required; some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications or related field required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales and CRM techniques preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support attraction, retention, and scheduling of blood drive sponsors.
• Educate stakeholders to maximize blood drive success and meet goals.
• Provide guidance to volunteers and coordinate with coordinators.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
