Job summary

The American Red Cross in Seattle seeks a sponsorship and education specialist to attract, recruit and manage blood drive sponsors and feeder groups, driving monthly and annual collection goals.

You will support drive management cycles, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure sufficient sign-ups, and schedule education programs for sponsor contacts and volunteers. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education.
• Skills: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales and CRM maintenance preferred.
• Abilities: Excellent oral and written communications, presentation skills, and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Support attraction, retention and scheduling of blood drive sponsors and feeder groups.
• Ensure 12-week drive management cycle execution with stakeholders.
• Collaborate on territory plans to meet collection goals and improve efficiency.
• Provide organizational and operational support to the blood drive coordinator.
• Schedule education programs for sponsor groups and volunteers.
• Maintain records to track sponsor group performance.
