Job summary

The American Red Cross in the United States is seeking a Donor Recruitment Account Manager on the Donor Recruitment team. You will work with blood drive coordinators and donor groups to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 1 year of related sales or outreach work preferred. Travel to sites throughout the Red Cross network may be required, and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, and customer maintenance is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across sites are required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement strategies to attract, manage and retain sponsors and feeder groups to meet collection goals.
• Coordinate scheduling of blood drives by assigned sponsors to meet collection targets.
• Provide operational support to sponsor contacts to ensure achievement of goals.
• Collaborate with collections personnel to ensure positive sponsor and donor experience.
• Schedule education programs for sponsor contacts and volunteers to meet objectives and comply with regulations.
• Develop knowledge of the community and apply it to servicing sponsor groups and expanding the program.
• Maintain accurate records to track sponsor group performance.
• Utilize tools and technology provided by ARC to enhance service and productivity.
