Job summary

Indiana University Foundation in Bloomington is seeking a Manager for Personal Property Gifts to guide donor gifts from the first conversation to their new home within IU. This brand‑new role on the Real Estate and Property team manages gifts of personal property such as art, instruments, artifacts, and equipment.

You will coordinate movers, work with appraisers and campus units, and document conversations at every step.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of professional experience in project coordination, donor or customer service, event or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a museum, collections, archives, or gift documentation setting preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or other service-focused environments valued.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Guide donor gifts from initial conversation to their new home within IU.
• Coordinate gifts of personal property, including art, instruments, artifacts, and equipment.
• Serve as contact for bench and tree dedication program across all IU campuses.
• Track progress, document conversations, and keep stakeholders updated throughout the process.
