Job summary

Indiana University Foundation seeks an Executive Director of Development to set the strategic direction for a comprehensive advancement program across Bloomington and Indianapolis. You will raise funds for scholarships, fellowships, and initiatives, guiding major gifts, annual giving, and donor relations with the Dean and school leaders.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' fundraising experience in a complex organization with major gift success.
• Previous supervisor experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for a comprehensive advancement program across two campuses.
• Lead major and principal gifts, annual giving, and foundation relations efforts.
• Engage faculty, donors, alumni, community partners, and civic leaders to build momentum.
• Collaborate with the Dean and school leadership to align philanthropy with academic goals.
