Job summary

The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a Manager for Personal Property Gifts to guide donor gifts from the first conversation to their new home within IU. This brand-new role on our Real Estate and Property team manages gifts of personal property, including art, instruments, artifacts, and equipment.

You’ll support real estate projects, serve as the point of contact for our bench and tree dedication program across all nine IU campuses, and coordinate movers, travel, and documentation to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in project coordination, donor or customer service, event or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a museum, collections, archives, or gift documentation setting preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or other service-focused environments valued.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Meet with donors and families to learn about gifts.
• Partner with appraisers and campus units to place gifts correctly.
• Prepare gift documentation to formalize gifts.
• Coordinate movers and logistics for gift transfers.
• Travel to see gifts, track project progress, and keep partners updated.
