Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated seeks a Donor Phlebotomist to screen and collect blood from donors, provide post-donation care, and perform quality control per SOP and FDA standards. Maintain a welcoming, professional environment and support the team during drives.

Responsibilities include donor health history, venipuncture, documentation, and upholding safety protocols in a regulated setting. On-call hours and some weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy training preferred or on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written/verbal instructions; follow SOP in FDA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Screen and collect blood from donors per SOP and regulatory standards.
• Provide post-donation care and monitor donor well-being.
• Perform quality control and document required paperwork.
• Assist in donor screening and health history assessments.
• Maintain donor area with required supplies and assist team leadership as needed.
