Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Phlebotomy certification preferred or 2+ years phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow SOP in a heavily FDA regulated environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Screen prospective donors through medical history and testing results.
• Perform venipuncture and operate automated collection systems.
• Provide post-phlebotomy care and donor reactions documentation.
• Maintain donor area and ensure stocking of required materials/equipment.
• Complete paperwork such as run sheets, QC sheets, maintenance logs, and device logs.
• Ensure all donor drive paperwork is accurate and complete.
