Job summary

YWCA Madison is seeking an experienced Development Operations Manager to lead donor data, gift processing, reporting, and the systems that power fundraising efforts at our Empowerment Center in Madison.

Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this role collaborates with Finance, Grants and Compliance, Marketing, and organizational leadership to ensure data accuracy, smooth operations, and strong donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, major gifts, or stewardship.
• Experience with a CRM or donor management system and gift processing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor records and CRM management.
• Run donor reports and prepare briefing materials.
• Draft and refresh acknowledgment templates; administer donor recognition.
• Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Lead donor outreach including lapsed donor re-engagement.
• Support donor portfolio management and major gift prospects.
• Partner with Finance on gift processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
