Job summary

92nd Street Y is seeking a Development Associate, Operations to manage donation processing, ensure donor intent, and code gifts accurately within the CRM. You will support the Development team by maintaining data integrity and coordinating with staff across fundraising activities.

The role requires 1–2 years in non-profit fundraising, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Salesforce experience. Flexibility with part-time 20 hours/week schedule offered in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• One to two years’ experience, in the non-profit, fundraising sector preferred.
• Non-profit/fundraising database software, Salesforce experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Team oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Entering donations into the CRM, updating membership records, and serving as primary contact with the Development staff to ensure donor intent and proper coding of gifts.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by updating and reconciling all donor/constituent information.
• Assist with the completion of reconciliations.
• Support the maintenance of acknowledgement templates.
• Provide backup customer service support for the Friends Line and email. Provide backup support for the Development office and other related tasks as needed.
