Job summary

The Bowery Mission, a Christian faith-based organization in New York, is seeking a Donor Services Coordinator to support gift processing, donor data, and service excellence. You will import gifts, reconcile discrepancies, respond to donor needs, and help maintain accurate biographical records.

This role requires 2+ years of data entry experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems, plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data entry experience in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Import gifts from multiple sources and update donors’ biographical data.
• Reconcile gift discrepancies with the gift processing vendor and post daily reports.
• Answer donor inquiries promptly with personalized responses and timely follow-ups.
• Assist with notification mailings, Welcome Packets, and inventory of supplies.
• Support Donor Service Supervisor in QA, special projects, and maintaining the Donor Service Manual.
