BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in Birmingham, AL to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review laboratory test results under physician guidance.

You must hold current licensure (EMT/Paramedic/RN/LPN) in the responsible state, CPR/AED certification, and have at least two years in a clinical setting.

Formación

• State licensure for responsibilities (EMT/Paramedic/RN/LPN).
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA training as BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent and self-exclusion.
• Assess donor reactions and document in SOPs.
• Review lab results and communicate unsuitable results to donors.
• Coordinate donor safety and transport during emergencies.
• Support vaccination programs and EHS guidance.

Conocimientos

EMT/Paramedic license

CPR AED certification

SPE review familiarity

Educación

High school diploma or nursing program graduate
