Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations per SOPs, and provide limited emergency care under licensure.

The role requires broad knowledge of center operations and adherence to cGMP and regulatory guidelines. The position includes training duties, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring SOP compliance across the donor center.

Qualifications

• Licensed healthcare professional with relevant certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least 1 year patient care experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency with donor screening and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history, physicals, and consent.
• Review and document donor info, immunization records, and test results.
• Monitor donors for adverse reactions and provide care as trained.
• Consult with center physician on abnormal results and eligibility concerns.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs like Physician Communications and eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and act as QA backup.
